capita illness offers stability in extremely uncertain times. In the event of disability due to illness, the agreed lump-sum payment can be used to finance whatever is important – from the best possible treatment to conversion work or your children’s education or training. In the event of death, the cash benefit relieves the burden on those you leave behind.
Insured benefits with capita illness
- In the event of disability: Lump-sum payment to the insured person of CHF 60,000 to CHF 300,000
- In the event of death: Lump-sum payment to beneficiaries in the amount of CHF 10,000 to CHF 300,000

For children, young people in training, students, homemakers, employees or the self-employed, capita illness protects against the economic consequences of disability or death due to illness at all stages of life. capita illness is also valuable protection for border commuters and their family members.

If an illness leads to disability or death, capita illness pays a one-off lump-sum payment to cover the economic consequences. In the event of disability, the amount of money is based on the agreed sum insured and the degree of incapacity for work.
In the event of death, the cash benefit will reduce financial concerns for survivors. You are free to choose the order of beneficiaries.
capita illness supplements existing insurance policies and closes gaps in cover – and also has low premiums.
capita illness is aimed exclusively at people who have health or supplementary health insurance with Sympany. Risk capital insurance can be taken out up to the age of 60. The application includes health questions that are relevant for taking out the insurance. Tip for expectant parents: No health questions are required if your baby is registered within 90 days of their birth.
Degression: From the 57th birthday onwards, lump-sum death and disability benefits will decrease by 10% of the insured sum per year if premiums remain unchanged. This means that with an insured capital of CHF 100,000, the compensation amounts to 90% – i.e. CHF 90,000. From the 58th birthday it is 80%, from the 59th birthday 70%, and so on. From the 65th birthday, you will receive 10% of the sum insured.
The insurance period ends on the day before the 66th birthday.
