Andreas Krümmel elected to the Sympany Board of Directors
Sympany is pleased to welcome Andreas Krümmel as a new member of the Board of Directors and the Foundation Board from 1 January 2023.
Basel, 21 December 2022 – Andreas Krümmel (54) has over 30 years’ experience in the insurance sector, enjoying success in managerial roles, as a board member and most recently as CEO of Generali Switzerland. He has extensive knowledge of the insurance industry as well as proven expertise in the areas of digitalisation and innovation, as evidenced by his role as initiator of the “House of Insurtech Switzerland” (HITS) and as chair of its board.
His experience means that, in his new role at Sympany, Andreas Krümmel will be a valuable addition to the Board of Directors and the Foundation Board. He will succeed the current Chairman, Siegfried Walser, from 1 May 2023.
