Remuneration

Board of Directors

The remuneration of the Sympany Board of Directors covers the expenses of its members at Sympany Holding AG and its subsidiaries. The compensation is passed on to its subsidiaries on a pro rata basis. The remuneration consists of an annual fee, a functional fee and a flat-rate expense allowance.

In 2025, the total remuneration in the narrower sense paid to the Board of Directors amounted to CHF 543’878. The remuneration in the narrower sense comprises the basic salaries before employee deductions. The highest individual remuneration amount was paid to the Chairman of the Board of Directors and totalled CHF 173’709.

Executive Board

The remuneration of the Sympany Executive Board covers the expenses of its members at Sympany Holding AG and its subsidiaries. The compensation is passed on to the subsidiaries on a pro rata basis. The remuneration comprises a basic salary, employer’s contributions to the Pension Fund, variable remuneration that is dependent on business results and the achievement of targets, and other compensation.

In 2025, the total remuneration of the Executive Board consisted of remuneration in the narrower sense of CHF 1’725’463, CHF 272’727 in employer’s contributions to the Pension Fund and other compensation of CHF 41’026. The remuneration in the narrower sense comprises the basic salary and all variable components before employee deductions. The highest individual remuneration amount was that paid to the CEO and comprised cash remuneration in the narrower sense of CHF 468’284, pension contributions of CHF 79’736 and other compensation of CHF 8’515.

The members of the Executive Board are obliged to remit to the company any fees or other compensation that they receive from mandates on Sympany’s behalf. No additional fees or compensation were paid to members of the Executive Board in 2025.
