You can protect yourself against this, as with capita accident, you and your loved ones receive a cash benefit that ensures financial security in the event of disability or death as a result of an accident – with low premiums from as little as CHF 3.70* per month (*women aged 21 and over). It’s quick, and does not depend on other insurance policies.

The capita accident risk capital insurance is suitable for the young and old – for children, schoolchildren, students, homemakers, the self-employed, employees and people of retirement age. The insurance cover includes occupational accidents and illnesses, as well as non-occupational accidents.
In the event of accident-related disability, capita accident pays a cash benefit (“compensation”) to the insured person. The amount is based on the agreed sum insured and the degree of disability.
In addition, under certain conditions, compensation may be paid in the event of severe disfigurement and the costs of retraining may be reimbursed.
If the insured person dies as a result of an accident, the beneficiaries receive a lump-sum death benefit. You are free to choose the order of beneficiaries.
You can choose from various combinations of sums insured for death and disability – entirely according to your needs. From a degree of disability of 26%, you benefit from progression. This means that as the degree of injury increases, the compensation increases even more. Examples:
- In the event of 1 to 25% disability, you will receive 1 to 25% of the sum insured.
- In the event of 26% disability, you will receive 28% of the sum insured.
- In the event of 50% disability, you will receive 100% of the sum insured.
- In the event of 75% disability, you will receive 225% of the sum insured.
- In the event of full disability (100%), you will receive 350% of the sum insured.
capita accident strengthens and supplements existing insurance cover in the event of disability or death as a result of an accident. It is therefore possible to take out capita accident with Sympany in combination with outpatient or supplementary hospital insurance. Good to know: No additional health declaration is required.
Insurance can be taken out up to and including the age of 65.
Yes. You will receive the amount regardless of where you are at the time of the accident.
