Boris Jacklowsky appointed Head of Products & Marketing at Sympany
Effective April 2022, the Sympany Board of Directors has appointed Boris Jacklowsky as Head of Products & Marketing and a member of the Executive Board. He had previously held these positions ad interim.
Basel, 6 April 2022 – Boris Jacklowsky has been working at Sympany since 2017. He was initially Head of Marketing & Communications and a member of the Extended Executive Board. From September 2021, he also served as Head of Offer Management and Customer Analytics and an interim member of the Executive Board.
The new Sympany Products & Marketing business area was recently created as part of a reorganisation, with the position for departmental head then being advertised internally and externally. After a multi-stage selection process involving numerous applicants, the Sympany Board of Directors decided in favour of Boris Jacklowsky last week. As Head of Products & Marketing, he has also been a member of the Executive Board since 1 April 2022.
Siegfried Walser, Chairman of the Board of Directors, shared the Board’s reasons for choosing Mr Jacklowsky: “The Board of Directors was purposefully looking for someone whose mindset and understanding of leadership would help shape and advance the company as a whole. Boris Jacklowsky, who is 52, has a wealth of experience in strategy consulting and marketing communications. Before joining Sympany, he was responsible for Swiss business as a Member of the Executive Board at Verivox and was Head of Digital Business at AXA Winterthur for six years. The qualified computer scientist and Swiss-certified marketing manager knows the Swiss insurance industry and healthcare sector inside out. He has many years of experience in digitalisation and the development of digital products.
