In the event of illness always consult your casamed family doctor. He or she will if necessary immediately refer you to a specialist.

If you visit a doctor, therapist or hospital without being referred by your family doctor, you must bear the costs yourself.
Exceptions: emergencies, gynaecologist, ophthalmologist or paediatrician.

Working statusIf you
- work
for one employer for more than 8 hours a week or
- are self-employed with voluntary
UVG accident insurance
you are already insured against accident through
your employer. The amount of the premium for accident insurance will be deducted from the price of basic
insurance cover.
If you have not taken out any other accident insurance
and
- are not gainfully employed,
- work for one employer
for less than 8 hours a week,
- are self-employed without voluntary UVG accident insurance,
or
- are a child, a housewife or -husband, or a retired person
the
accident insurance will be included in the basic cover.
